Despite the fact we are in a recession and the labor force participation rate has not recovered to pre-Covid levels at all and has been flat lining. Are employers still just sucking off the Covid and PPP juice, and we are going to witness a crash the UE rates this winter?

62.1. Trump had actually grown in for the first time in over 20 years, and had it at 63.4.

Stop being disingenuous. two quarters of negative growth is a recession. Try as you will, you don't get to change the definition to fit your narrative. Workforce participation is in the gutter and more than likely contributing lower number.

Nobody qualifies since they were already on it. Also unemployment at state level is wiped out.

We are literally in a recession.

Recession is a term used to signify a slowdown in general economic activity. In macroeconomics, recessions are officially recognized after two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth rates.

Well, there is certainly manipulation of the the UE numbers, however, employment is always a lagging indicator of the economy.

We are on the forefront of layoffs. We are hearing announced layoffs with more frequency, but I also think that companies are trying to hang onto to employees as long as possible due to the fact that it is hard to get people back once they are let go.
