His stated reason for voting against this was it funded Biden's plan. That's simply not true. Biden is not president. Trump is.

I think Massie said it funded government at "Biden levels", which is true.

LOL

I think it is being proven now that no bill was needed, just enforcement of already on the books laws.

Yet, they are melting because Massie didn't want to make government bigger or spend more money

Wait a minute, I thought you said that it was a lie that Massie voted with Democrats. Now, it’s Massie voted with Democrats but he’s always got an excuse.

This is like talking to a brick wall.

He voted against a bill for a specific reason.

A different reason than democrats voted against.

Just how fricking retarded are you?

Every member of the senate and congress has voted "with" the opposing party.

It's absolutely true. Minimal changes and the bottom line is almost exactly the same.

Yes. It keeps spending at basically current levels - from which they are trying to cut, which seems moronic.

Yet, here we are.

But not because the heads of department is handling it there. This is the our shot as educating the American people on what's going on.

Why shoot ourselves in the foot?

Like I said, I like what he stands for, but he misses the boat.

We need to pass this wasteful bill to show how wasteful the last dozen have been.

Well, it's in the past at this point. We will find out in 6 months the results.

The truth about Massie is this. He is for shrinking the spending. He is not effective. And he misses the point often. This is one of those times.

I think you're right, but I'm starting to have my doubts on Massie's true position on open borders. This was his latest excuse to vote with Dems:

quote:

National E-verify assumes every American is an illegal immigrant unless their identity can be matched to a government database. I will vote against it today,” Massie wrote.

It's simply not true; that's not what E-verify does. Massie is starting to grasp at straws when it comes to his voting with Democrats on immigration.

That's the SOP for the cult. When provided with proof he voted continuously with Democrats the next post will be.

"Have I told you about Massie being a principled Conservative"

No. He's right and everyone else is missing the boat. It's just easier to blame one person than everyone else.

The vast majority of those he voted against have been called RINOs for the past number of years by Trumpfan. Including top RINO Johnson.

Now he is the RINO for not bending the knee and going along with them.

It's what the GOPe has done for decades. "Drain the swamp they said. It'll be fun they said." Then they got elected, and they look a lot like the swamp.
