yeah it's such a weak argument

there is the "kids in cages" photo op, that has died b/c we aren't even seeing that sort of immigration

and...that one time he may have tear gassed rioters for his own photo op?

there really isn't much to point out in terms of actual authoritarian rule

They are conflating populism with authoritarianism (and I’m being generous here), as the two often accompany one another. What Trump has done to the DC establishment is quite the opposite of authoritarian. He hasn’t done enough to stamp down the coup in my opinion. Soon.

And these leftist usefuls will discover what authoritarian means as the Leftist vision is realized. If this virus has taught these people nothing else, it should be that. But alas, no.

Ok.

To elaborate: the use of government influence at the very highest levels to garner wealth and power via shell corporations is no longer unique to the fasci, and obviously Biden wasn’t able to actually instal a fascist totalitarian state. But if you follow what those criminals were doing, it is very similar in nature to the early fascists. Fascism didn’t take on the full totalitarian and racist aspects for some time.

But what about whenever he left things up to the states and local governments to manage the pandemic and civil unrest rather than consolidate power?

Despot!

See above edit.

It is an effort to maintain the current hierarchy. And there will always be hierarchies.

We're essentially moving in the direction to a fascist economic model. I'd argue we're there but the federal government still doesn't have the power over local municipalities to be technically correct. The next true radical can probably get us across the finish line.

Older Cato article on economic fascism (people like to call all authoritarianism and government-related racism “fascism,” but actual Italian fascism has a specific history of course)

Ok this is a dumb argument. Sorry for being a dick. People just seem to think fascism is a generic term for what we saw In Europe by WWII and stick it on anything they see as authoritarian. It actually has a very specific economic definition, and the shite the Bidens pulled using the second highest office in the US to set up corporations that peddle global influence and create wealth for that office holder and his family are “classical” traits of fascism.

Pace.

It’s crazy that the Democrat Party has their followers brainwashed to bitch about exactly what they themselves promote - fascism & racism.

They call it Hate. Logical people call it censorship and hypocrisy. Let's win this and secure our next 4 years of freedom and prosperity.
