Trump probably made some remarks in private that got spread around, then it was a talking point by Axelrod and the ilk, and became a marching order. Fast forward to when Trump insulted the Clinton family it really became war.

A large portion of the hatred, by the left/many people, is of his own demise. He is callous, narcissistic, and just in your face arrogant. That attitude/personality has made him what he is in the business world, but it obviously doesn't fly in the political world.....with a lot of folks. As for the average citizen watching him on TV, or reading the "mean" Tweets, it's something they've never seen, and they can't adjust/comprehend it coming from a Political person. You have to realize, for decades the American citizen is used to a mealy mouthed, fence walking Politician who tries to appease everyone. Then Trump arrived and it was something that they had never seen/heard, and it was too much for the sheltered little minds to comprehend. Basically, he blew the minds of a lot of folks, and they reacted with disbelief/hatred.
As for the Political left.....simple, they saw him as a threat, someone who was balls to the wall hell bent on getting things done, the America First way ! They saw him as a threat, someone who acted, not talked, and got things done, consequences be damned. He wasn't a "team" player, and that threatened their normal complacency/political futures/and standard milking of the system....IE, their pocketbooks !
As for the Political left.....simple, they saw him as a threat, someone who was balls to the wall hell bent on getting things done, the America First way ! They saw him as a threat, someone who acted, not talked, and got things done, consequences be damned. Street level haters of all things Trump were in many cases lovers of all things Trump prior to Trump's foray into politics. What happened you ask? The Gaslight Media advised their captured audience that Trump is a bigot, a racist, a xenophobe, homophobe, transphobe and just an all around POS and they went from loving Trump to hating Trump, and it only took about 1 week of mass Gaslighting.

Trump told it like it was, not always very polished. This offended limp wristed, liberal minded people. Also, the steady flow of lies from MSM finished the mental picture in those delusional brains needed to follow leftist ideas. Trump doesn't give two shits about what his enemies think about him.

I don't care for him because he cost Republicans the presidency, the house and the senate. He's a loser and brought the democrats to their biggest amount of power ever. Without Trump, we don't have all this BS like picking your gender and all this other shite. It emboldened the left to get everything they ever wanted, including Biden. He's a con man and a loser.
