WHAT is an "Echo Chamber?"

Where is the "line" for defining delineating between a "debate" and an "echo chamber?"
(a) 1000:1 ...... echo chamber?
(b) 100:1 ........ echo chamber?
(c) 10:1 .......... echo chamber?
Here, most would agree that we aren't (a) or (b), but we definitely are CLOSE to (c) IMO. Probably somewhere between (b) and (c), but closer to (c) among regular posters.

Echo chambers aren't really about ratios, they're about silencing opposition/wrong think.
Based off of that, this board isn't an echo chamber. Opposing views are allowed, even if they're downright retarded or even trolling...

Well, we have had one (arguably two) substantive responses to the question presented. To those posters, "thank you for your input."
One poster (Azkiger) presented the idea that a forum can have an overwhelming majority of people holding the same (or similar) views, but can avoid designation as an "echo chamber" by declining to "ban" other views. That is an interesting take, and I tend to agree.
