The first 2 days the MSM was foaming at the mouth spreading the "attacker is a right-wing extremists" bullshite. Then the info slowly leaked out and all signs started pointing to gay lovers quarrel gone wrong and POOF!

It did what it was intended to do - drive up Dem votes, suppress the GOP - particularly against "MAGA Republican" candidates, and sway independents to Democrats.
