What if the Dems are successful in impeaching Trump?

Yes, I know. Small chance here, but a legit question regardless.
What will the GOP do? I know they'll have Pence as President until January 2021, but what about the election next year? Does the GOP have another strong candidate that can take down Biden or Warren? I don't think Pence is the answer.
Most aren't considering it because it's a low chance, but it's a very real possibility.

There is ZERO chance trump will be removed by the senate

if 20 Republican senators vote to remove Trump they might as well do Pence at the same time and install Pelosi because the Republican party would be dead and they would get nothing in 2020.

I think this is the most likely. Except I doubt they would try to removal Pence. They may leave him, but the GOP would be dead for 2020 with hopes of a rebound in 2024.

There is a zero percent chance Trump is removed. I seriously doubt one republican in the Senate votes yes and some Dems will side with the republicans

Just because Fox News tells you that there's zero chance that he's removed, doesn't mean it's zero chance.
I give it more like a 5-10% chance based on what I've seen. But I agree that the GOP senators could just kick that can down the road.

I have changed my mind on this, and I think they go censure with "the people will decide". It was idiotic to let it go on past two days, and most moderates have sided with the GOP.
