This has absolutely been my question, as well.
The world proclaimed Russia’s guilt with only the circumstantial evidence.

The Russians are doing what they usually do - put up 20 alternative stories some of which are mutually exclusive as squid ink. Their whole objective is to divide Western alliances and undermine public confidence in the idea that there is knowable truth about political events.

Russia should be punished for trying to deter more military action in this world. This is just not acceptable and clearly shows Russia is evil.

We stay the frick out of it until concrete EVIDENCE is presented.
It's proven without a doubt the NSA can hear EVERY conversation within earshot of a smart phone or computer. I'm not stupid enough to believe that if this was a real even, no matter who gave the order that the conversation wouldn't have taken place on or near a smart phone.
This eavesdropping bullshite works both ways.
