I've got two mixed nephews and no one says shite or blinks an eye when they're out with us. My wife made the comment about how colorblind kids are now. At Awana's one of the kids asked where another child was but couldn't remember her name. She asked her what she looked like and she said, "You know the really pretty girl with the long curly hair". No mention of skin color. 
That may not seem like much, but IMO it's says a lot about how things have changed.

So your argument is that some whites were treated as sub human when they immigrated here? I absolutely agree. The Irish and Italians huddled in ghettos and were outcasts

It's a very significant thing. My wife and I get practically zero guff when out and about together. And there are so many mixed kids in our neighborhood, it's not even really a thing people notice.
America is fricking awesome. I love this country. Never been a better one in which to be a minority in the history of the planet.

The left wants racial issues. It's all they know. Race baiting, gender bullshite, socioeconomic division etc.
What happened to, "Why can't we all just get along?". I've unfriended zero minority or liberal friends for their facebook rants. However, I've had several unfriend my because of my WIFE's pro MAGA posts. I stay silent most of the time. They are irrational and hypocritical. Blacks enslaved other blacks. I don't see how that's confirmation that blacks didn't recognize race.

My son plays soccer and his club is very diverse. My sons coach is from Africa And is a former pro player. Almost every race you could think of and even Jews and Palestinians on the same team. Kids from Japan, Ethiopia, Middle East, South & Central America, Mexico. Everyone gets along very well and we all are united around the love of sport and our kids. It is a really amazing country!
