Apparently Gaetz doesn’t have support from over half of GOP senators. Recess appointments are also off the table if 4 GOP senators vote against it, which seems likely

This is not true. Trump can use his power spelled out in the Constitution to send Congress into recess and then appoint him.

Gaetz takes full confirmation attack from Dems, lessening focus on other noms; fails confirmation. He is then appointed by Ron to Back-fill Rubio’s vacated senate seat. Lara Trump runs for Gaetz’s vacated house seat.

Hopefully Trump will have a big poster board set up in his office with the names of senators not on board, and he can take pics of it and send it to all of them in a group text. Then he can say “you have one week to find your way off this list…”

Both Elon And Charlie K have said they’ll provide funds and go all in to get them primaried. You can’t vote for AG Garland and not Gaetz without consequences.

I was originally tuning he wouldn’t have a chance but I think he has a chance and while I wasn’t really into the pick at first, after seeing the democrats panic I want to see Gaetz confirmed and dig into the department and find the stinky swamp rats.

Trump can use Constitutionally granted power to force Congressional recess and then confirm after 10 days. Obama did this with dozens of people. Dims are terrified because apparently it's only cool for the black messiah to use those powers, and not the Orange Oracle.
