Trump's speech was fine, what made last night special was Trump bringing all those Greatest Generation warriors out on stage and giving them their moment....it was spectacular.

I think it was extremely underwhelming, but, I attribute that to the lunatics that fight against anything Trump tries to do.

please cite a source for this - perhaps I should remind you - Trump makes billions of $$ a lot of years before he even thought of being POTUS - what in particular ties this instance to his being POTUS this year.

Is it because he is perhaps more well known?? -- OR - are you suggesting he mishandled the governing of America to acquire another 2% of personal wealth.

And if the latter - perhaps you could explain how the Obamas, Clintons. Bidens, Pelosi's, et al became multi millionaires only AFTER they became national political leaders - not one of THOSE people had ever earned an honest dime before becoming "the people's choice for governance" -

And you might note that once the Clintons left office, their "Clinton Foundation" fell into relative doldrum conditions. Strange - just when they were no longer having to be bothered by running the 'nation's business' = when they could have devoted full time to "helping the world's needy" their foundation became a ho-hum who cares entity. Why would that be"??

And Obama - can you tell me ONE THING he ever did that was of his own effort to earn a single dime - just ONE THING - WHAT has he done. Somehow he can now own million$$ mansions all over the place - most in coastal areas that are going to 'be under water' if we don't control the climate - strange choice for a home if you sincerely believe it will soon be under water - same for Al Gore and others.

WHAT has ANY democrat politician earned "On HIs Own" = seems to me they all get wealthy as shite "doing the peoples business."

Trump built his wealth BEFORE collecting one dime from you and me via taxation. He was an arrogant, self-promoting, capitalist who helped shape the skyline of NYC thru his own intellect, hard work, and dedication - NOT by sitting on his arse making "decisions" for the rest of us to labor under.

No - I have NEVER been a fan of Trump's persona. If you knew anything about me at all you would know that I was his greatest CRITIC on this board back in 2015 when he first declared for POTUS - I hated the man - I knew nothing of him but his playboy past and braggadocio.

BUT - I am smart enough to know that he SAVED THE REPUBLIC by keeping Hillary Clinton from becoming POTUS. I have looked at what he as DONE for America - and watched him be unfairly and viciously attacked by the butt-lickers like you, helped out by the propaganda 'news media' for the past decade.

I don't have to like the man. I do appreciate what he has DONE for AMERICA - not for himself.

And who knows - IF he had fair treatment by the press - and was not dumped on by all the billionaires who make their fortunes milking the US public treasury thru miscarriages like USAID and myriads of other tax-payer robberies, he would not have to go to the trouble to point out all the success he has achieved for AMERICA.

Find me a Democrat billionaire that has accumulated his fortune BEFORE getting into politics.

Tell me a single thing Trump has done to enrich himself BECAUSE of his position as POTUS. You do know that he donates his entire salary to charity and does not keep a DIME of what the USA pays him - or do you NOT know that??

Have at it - tell us all about the accomplishments of your favorite democrat and how they have dedicated themselves to America's benefit and what they achieved by their effort alone, without pocketing a single dime from the US treasury..
