And how do they affect our country?

Do they make decisions based on what they think is best for the world as opposed to what is best for their own country?

They're the ones that sold us out on all these trade deals over the last several decades. Same ones that are now whining about TRUMP'S tariffs.

They do what's best for them to make money on a global scale. They don't give a shite about the Earth or any of the people in it.

Yes. See Paris Accords and Democrat Immigration Policy as starters.

They are part of the elite business community that don't care about countries individually. Countries and the laws in those countries are simply obstacles to global free trade.

Some shite like this...

They put what's best for other countries ahead of what's best for their own country. They will sell us out on trade deals because it's good for other countries. These are the people who want open borders, and feel Trump is racist for putting America first.

A globalist as I understand them is a person who favors policies that benefit multiple or all other countries over a single country. They are pitted against nationalists who support policies that improve conditions for a single country, even at the expense of other countries.

A globalist is someone who wants to form a global hegemony. It affects us by removing the sovereignty of our own nations. They do not act in the interest of their nation or the world, but for their own personal interests. Hope that helps.

Even reading this thread I’m still not clear about what exactly a globalist is and who these people are.

It’s almost like it’s an esoteric term and nobody really knows what it means.

People who support us sending Aid troops military service food and money to foreign countries halfway across the world while at the same time complaining that there is no money for inner city education, infrastructure, or many other programs in this country.

Someone who supports unfair trade deals that hurt the United States because they may help a foreign country in which they do not live and have no interest in.

Someone who supports both an open welfare state for anyone who lives in the country and simultaneously supports an end to borders allowing anyone to wander into this country and take advantage of a welfare state which they are not a part of, do not fund, and cannot contribute to.

When I think of the term globalist I think of the EU. A few bureaucratic officlials and elites all living in Brussels Belgium trying to tell 28 other countries what to do and how to do it. Also disciplining you if you chose to go outside their terms.

A globalist makes decisions that benefit their pocketbook at the expense of their own countrymen. Manufacturing wasn't moved to China to help poor Chinese people...

this is the non-partisan answer.

the problem is that globalism is just like communism or socialism. it's super great and wonderful in the land of unicorns where nobody is selfish and everybody gets an equal outcome, but the second anybody can profit off of it or take advantage of the system, people will do what they can to get theirs.

Sort of reminds you of Washington DC doesn't it?
