Even reading this thread I’m still not clear about what exactly a globalist is and who these people are.

It’s almost like it’s an esoteric term and nobody really knows what it means.

Are you just being obtuse?

quote:

Definition:
glob·al·ist
'glob?list/Submit
noun
1.
a person who advocates the interpretation or planning of economic and foreign policy in relation to events and developments throughout the world.
adjective
1.
relating to or advocating the operation or planning of economic and foreign policy on a global basis.

So just take one of my examples I gave you earlier:

Proponents of the Paris Accord have a globalist agenda. They are not concerned if it actually benefits the USA, they believe it benefits the Earth as a whole so they are for it.

I’m not sure how to put it any simpler.

It’s almost like you’re being intentionally obtuse.

It means whatever negative things people want to impute over matters of which they have little understanding.

Watch Quadriga on Link TV every week and you'll find out.
Short story... they want nations dissolved and everyone ruled by the U.N.
They hate Trump. They love Merkel.

They are the ones that want a socialist global world government modeled on the Chinese government. They can't get what they want until American falls.

No, I’m not. Several people have chimed in and they all have given different answers. They’ve all answered as to their own definition of what they mean when they talk about “globalists”.

It’s leading me to believe that it is mostly an esoteric term where most people just make up their own definition.

To me, it seems to a big money laundering scheme, to me. Send money overseas, where it becomes difficult, if not impossible to account for it. You would have a hard time convincing me that some of that money doesn't end up illegitimately in American bank accounts.

They don't believe in sovereign nations being in control of their sovereign nations. They believe one centralized government is all that is needed. One government that is filled with unelected individuals to rule over the global masses.

Almost every response has the same theme behind it. You'd have to be intentionally obtuse or very unobservant to notice it.

Whether it's a good or bad thing is a whole different discussion.

They want no borders
This is what the one world order wants
It’s easier to control everyone when there is only ONE government

Every answer in this thread is similar to every other one.

None of them are conflicting.

That's not true. Some have said it means wanting a global government. Some have said it's about putting the interests of the world ahead of the interests of your own country. Some have said it's about lining your own pockets at the expense of your own country.

And I haven't even gone back and read each response to see if there were others.

Those are all very different things.

the first two things are the what. The third is the why...

Wanting one world government means putting the interests of the world above the interests of your own country. Why? To make it easier to enrich yourself.

Think about it. How easy will it be for world leaders to enrich themselves and their friends in this scenario. Of course, the developed world is going to pump money into all the shitholes of the world in order to improve conditions. How is that money spent? One for improvements, one for you, one for me. One for improvements, one for you, one for me. and so on...

Things globalists love: the UN, the EU, the IMF, the WTO, "free trade", democracy (its illusion, anyway), multinational corporations, media conglomerates, and the "service economy".

Things globalists despise: immigration control, trade protectionism, bilateral agreements, simple tax codes, religion.

Globalism is all about equitably distributing resources around the world in a way that makes the super rich elites of every country even richer. Once you become a billionaire, borders disappear and you become a citizen of the world, able to earn income from anywhere by doing anything.

real free trade and small government globalists are fine. The problem is that the 2018 globalists are hell bent on breaking down small government and inserting themselves as global autocrats
