I never said the government should pay for my child's books. I asked you for a donation. You seem to be a caring and giving soul. You have paypal?

Then you brought in a completely unrelated argument that has nothing to do with anything regarding what Kimmel touched on.

Strawman employed. How much has your strawman paid into? If your strawman is 20 it's not a lot more than likely.

That's why you don't have children with no ability to care for them. I think you are getting it.

You said I argued that the government should pay for this that and the other. I didn't.

I just asked you to pay. I take travelers checks too.

Nice selective quoting of my post.

No.

Yes. Most won't like how clear you stated this but you are correct.

And that has nothing to do with anything I've said in this thread. It is completely unrelated.

Then why did you claim I said the government should pay for this that and the other?

Well when you said "everybody is overtly political," I changed it to reflect that. I mean obviously the late night hosts have always made fun of Presidents--and that's overt--even if you make fun of all of them. I meant an overt political bent.

Well, when you use Cobert and the other one then it's easy to be considered more middle of the road in comparison.

He's overtly political.
And the "other one" (Fallon) is apparently a registered Republican.

B/c I can't read your mind to see that you were going to bring in a completely unrelated point.

Or maybe I was correct in my assumption when I mentioned government, and you just changed your intent of your original statement about books after the fact in an attempt to throw me off.

Yeah it's pretty clear in the article:
quote:

Kimmel used his personal story to blast President Donald Trump for trying to cut $6 billion in funding from the National Institutes of Health, and he applauded Congress for doing the opposite and increasing funding by $2 billion.

I'd need to see his voter ID card.

No I didn't mean to throw you off. I'm just looking for really caring people to help me pay for my child's schooling.

I've paid a lot into the government. Perhaps I'll see if they are as generous as you desire them to be.

Back to the topic. Don't have kids without the ability to care for them. That's a good rule of thumb, right? We can agree on that?

He spent 10.5 minutes talking about his newborn and thanking those who supported him. He spent 2.5 minutes saying people should have access to the same healthcare his newborn recieved. Maybe it's political, but it's ridiculous to call it a prop.

If a person was told their child will have some genetic condition, and the child turns out healthy, and he/she advocates for a pro-life view because of that baby using his/her child as a prop.

I think it's unfair to say either is using their children as a prop since they're genuine beliefs from their deeply personal experiences.

Never even mentioned books anywhere, so you keep inserting strawman arguments into this conversation.

And you're oversimplifying my entire position.

The funny part is that my positions on health care are very moderate and mainstream, but on the PoliBoard, they appear extreme.

O so you have no problem assuming what Kimmel meant, but now you want proof? This is the best I can offer:

But Daily Mail Online has learned Fallon was a registered Republican until 2009 at his upstate New York home

So I guess he used to be registered at least before he moved.

He didn't blast Trump though. That's a misrepresentation by the author:
