Honestly if someone told me they think we should ever turn a dying patient away from an ER, I would have serious doubts about the integrity of that person.
I love these bleeding hearts, who make no contribution themselves, but sit behind a keyboard and try to dictate morality to the masses.
It's a joke.

No they get food and shelter. No money, no food stamps, etc.
Just enough to keep you from dying. The rest is up to you.
Funny how many "poor" people have iPhones...

Strongly disagree that education is a right.
This.
Education was much better in this country when it was a privilege. Rights are are taken for granted and not taken advantage of.
Whereas people strive to gain and keep a privilege.

They are entitled to an equal opportunity to make something of themselves. If they fail at that then it's not our job to subsidize them for food, clothes, shelter or healthcare.
They are entitled to the opportunity to get a high school education opening the doors to college if they work hard and make good grades.
They are entitled to safety from foreign invaders and threats, to live their lives free of fear from tyranny and destruction

What's a joke is when people like you make stupid assumptions about what people on a message board who they've never met do and don't do, without any sort of legitimate basis whatsoever.
I donate to medical charities on a regular basis. It's not a ton but it's what I can afford. If everyone contributed the same amount I did it would be more than enough.

So if somebody has failed to the point where they can't even feed themselves, we should just let them die?
If there wasn't a never ending safety net, you'd see far fewer able bodied adults failing to the point of starvation. You'd also see a decline in the numbers of "disabled."

You nailed it. This is all any of us are entitled to.
You really don't think that every kid should be entitled to an education?

If we don't make education a right, could you imagine the shitstorm that would ensue in impoverished communities and even much of the middle class? I guarantee that the crime rate in this country would skyrocket over the course of a generation, your wife and kids would be rapped and stabbed over basically anything, and we'd become the dumbest bunch of mouth breeders that the entire world would mock. I can't believe anyone would be against public education. If you believe that education should only be provided for the middle class and over who could afford a private education, then you're a Buffoon and an absolute moron.
