What do ya'll think of Max Boot?

I haven't read much of his stuff but I saw him moderating a panel on Cspan today.
In opening statements he claimed to be a champion of moderates... 'center/left and center/right'.
But he then went on to say that we are in terrible times for freedom, not only here in the US but abroad because 'Brazil just elected a fascist and democracy is under attack in Poland, Hungary and the Philippines.

Huffpo does not employ conservatives.
They think he's a conservative, but that's only because they haven't spoken with anyone to the right of Justine Trudeau.

As a Never-Trumper who used to be a Republican, I'll say this about folks like Boot, Jennifer Rubin, Rick Wilson, et. al...
I may agree with what they say, I may retweet them occasionally, I may appreciate their turn of phrase...
But I've never HEARD of most of them before Trump, and I probably never would have until the Trump movement came along.

The fact that Democrats have found common cause with neocons due to a mutual hatred of Trump is telling. People like Max Boot are worse than Trump ever could be. They are the creators of war and the makers of genocide, yet because the orange man is bad, you act as if he's some kind of principled conservative. Boot would send you to die in a 3rd world hellhole if his handlers made a profit.
