I get it. He wasnt in my top 3. He is on the ticket. The alternative is horrific.

Same thing half this board was saying in 2016 when I patiently held their hand as they screamed that he was a liberal Democrat and they were slowly won over and voted Trump hesitantly and now are his biggest supporters.

I pretty much agree with you there. I don't think we should be counter signaling Trump right now but this was just announced a few hours ago so I think these questions and concerns are fair.

I am happy that Trump picked a Straight White Male so there is that.

Conservatives or Trump people? Some yesterday were ishtting on Bill Ackman for endorsing Trump. Apparently he’s not “pure” enough for their liking.

How the hell are you going to have a movement if you don’t alllow new people into the club?

They don't call it the "Rust Belt" for nothing, and JD came up in the hills, very poor. He knows what MAGA means, and has bought in. Not rocket science. There is a movie about his life, that I've heard is very inspiring.

NYC billionaire playboy Trump was a high roller, but he never lost contact with the blue-collar workers who built his construction projects. Taught his boys as well, who worked with the workers. That is good. And Trump is not the same man now as then.

There is a helluva lot of our money going all over the World, some altruistically worthy that we can be proud of, and some are scams to enrich those who have their hands in the process. Think Clinton Foundation, or Biden Profiteering LLC. A lot of it is war/blood money, the Muh Democracy version.

I never gave JD much thought until today, but having looked into his life and the whole process, I have high hopes that he will be a compassionate, honest and wise leader. I think the newly 'baptized' with fire Trump saw this and chose wisely.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

PS, I'm watching the RNC Convention...and I clearly see that Trump has a different persona. Could be the lawfare stuff falling away, but I think it's gratitude and humility for the Lord's mercy re that bullet.
