Musk is saying he should be prosecuted. I’m looking for statutes or common law crimes and an evidence-based justification for prosecution so I can decide for myself whether he should be prosecuted.

He misrepresented the science, for one.

Maybe wait for the twitter files on this issue first? Novel idea

You’re like those idiots that were saying the FBI wasn’t meeting with twitter to instruct them on who to ban

Back in the day, he used orphans as guinea pigs for AIDS drugs that he knew had very serious side effects. Many of them died.

Ever hear of murder?

There is a documentary produced by RFK, Jr., that was linked on this site a few weeks back. Details all of it.

Fauci is everything Josef Mengele aspired to be.

You make an excellent point. I know funding the gain of function research and lying about it is a big issue. As well as manipulating evidence and truth.

But what laws did he break? Great question. You must have laws to prosecute.

I’m thinking he probably lied to Congress a time or two, my good man. And if you ask “about what, exactly” my answer will be “everything.” So there you have it.

Cruelty to beagles isn’t a crime? I think it is.

Adultery and lying have one thing in common - there are both not illegal acts, however, they are both heavily frowned upon by those that have a moral compass.

I love it, this thread is going exactly how I imagined. His crimes so far:

Cruelty to animals
Murdered orphans
Murdered thousands of people
Lied to Congress “on everything”
Rigged an election
Crimes against humanity (likely the only one here with teeth)

Why can’t some posters have a serious discussion? The man isn’t going to be prosecuted for cruelty to beagles. He didn’t MURDER people. He didn’t rig an election.

I think the man is despicable and should be held accountable, but the question is WHAT LAWS DID HE BREAK?

I guarantee he did break laws, I’m not saying he didn’t. I’m trying to have the discussion to find the EXACT laws that he broke AND can be prosecuted for (not stupid shite that will get thrown out of court).

When did that ever stop the government from prosecuting people they don't like?

Quick Google search reveals it was illegal for 3 years (2014-2016) to use federal funds for gain of function research.

Adultery

Lol what? Adultery is still illegal in places, it’s just something that’s not prosecuted anymore. And it matters in divorce. If that’s the reasoning for divorce.

And lying under oath is against the law, so would be lying in other instances. Like in the accounting world lying about a companies financial position is fraud.
