I'm still not sure what I believe, issues are so damn complicated. Choosing one side of the political spectrum is convenient, but I second guess my opinions constantly.

I want the US to rule the world. It is safer and more stable when we are in charge.

I don't give a frick if that's unfair or unjust.

I confess that I believe Christian values should be promoted in our country and throughout the world and that everyone would be better off if that happened.

I liked Bush but now can't stand to see his face or hear his voice, Iraq War, illegal immigration, home loan farce, and manufacturing to China.

I have never voted for a DEM for president. My first vote was for Nixon v JFLK and I have never had a regret about a vote I cast. I didn't feel good about my vote for Ford at the time because i was mad that he had pardoned Nixon. But as time went on, I became more proud of it. Same with McCain - I didn't like him but voted for him anyway, but at the time I wondered in the back of my mind whether or not Obama would work to improve race relations - again, time has soothed my regret and now stands as more justification for my NO-DEMs record.

I want English as our national language and want all official business conducted in English only. I don't think you should be a citizen if you cannot speak English. You certainly should not be able to vote if you cannot speak English.

I want poll tests for voting. I think the idea of political office as a popularity contest should be abandoned. In order to cast a vote you should have some sort of understanding about the office you are voting for. A poll test should require that you have a rudimentary familiarity with the constitution. I think registration rolls should be regularly purged and require that everyone re-register with absolute proof of identity, citizenship, and residence. I think all the 'make voting easy' laws should be re-evaluated/repealed. The emphasis should be on protecting the solemnity of the vote rather than making it a super easy ad-hoc drive-by exercise.

We should have a ban on immigration of all sorts (with some carefully constructed exceptions) until the population we have now has fully assimilated. Enclaves of 3rd world cultures should be broken up. We should herald our culture rather than making excuses for its successes.

We need to declare the radical bias of the academic centers to be an un-American activity. All support should be removed from these institutions. Degrees should be decertified until their political bias is rooted out.

Also gave a little money.

I confess I despise the left for their dishonesty and abuse of power and not because of color, gender, or lifestyle.

Just their unabashed ways of identity politics, emotional outcries, entitlement growth, job killing policies, etc. etc.

I do have compassion and would like to assist their recovery from this destructive and progressive disease. I care.

I'm a Democrat, but I'm also a pretty passionate Catholic. I get really angered when other Democrats and liberals make a huge deal about police departments putting "In God We Trust" on police vehicles. It's on all our currency and many monuments, it's suitable for the police cars. I respect there are atheists out there and I have no slight against them, but just let it go already.

I used to say I'm a pro-choice, but I don't know about it anymore. I don't really know if life should really be considered life at conception or if it should be considered when a fetus could literally survive on it's own outside the womb. I'm torn to be honest, but I'm at least fortunate it's not my decision.

I feel for people who have family that are literally murdered by police unjustly and I believe those police should face harsh consequences, but the painting of all police by many liberals as all demons and bad guys is just so damn stupid. I'm really glad I can sleep at night knowing a vast majority of the population follow the rule of law and there is a uniformed protection agency out there patrolling against those that don't.

Well, at least we have boards like this to keep things on an even keel.
