The mechanism he used in this case known as IEEPA forced SCOTUS to say no to a portion of the existing tariff base.
Exactly. So the tariffs I paid based on ieepa should be refunded.

without proper authority
Not so moron. Actually quite the opposite as stated by the USSC in their findings. He ABSOLUTELY has the authority, but it was mistaken to be under a certain power. Basically just like correcting a typo.
Authority is there and now the tariffs are staying in place.

Hmmmm, do you have proof it is hurting them? Or were their original prices so high, they can absorb without passing on

he has some authority but not all. Congress has that. if he had full authority i would be paying 50% today. and i'm not!

yes, it has hurt me. my gross profit margin has decreased 10% in the last 12 months. it has delayed hiring of a few positions.

and has put a strain on cash flow. some businesses are stock and sell model. bring in products from overseas for inventory that are not already sold. having to pay an additional 25% or 50% of the cost upfront to the government has a big strain on cash flow. hurts many businesses.

That literally means the seizure was without the proper authority

For new tariffs collected under the different authority.
Anything collected under IEEPA was done without legal authority and was an illegal seizure.

no what? there is a real chance of this happening. i have a responsibilty to my employees, their families and my customers to try and get it.

You don’t have any employees.
Also your previous assertion tariffs are always passed on to consumers is factually wrong.
Tariffs have had surprisingly little impact on consumer prices. Factually of course
