She definitely was not going to open this can of worms.
No integrity, or she was probably fearful.

Her decision is in line with SCOTUS precedent, so no, she definitely was not.

It’s not a state issue when the plaintiff pleads federal constitutional claims
Seems like ACB disagrees with the plaintiff and thinks this is a matter for the Indiana Courts not federal.
Maybe you suck at your day job

Getting references from swamperz for filling vacancies was Trump’s biggest downfall.

On what grounds should she have blocked it? I mean specifically.
An actual conservative judge doesn't care if they like the result. They care only if IU has the legal right to implement that policy.
Problem in the long run is that's unilateral disarmament. But unless IU is violating a specific law or Constitutional provision they can impose the vax mandate even if it's a bad idea.

People on this board were clamoring for her before Kavanaugh was even nominated

So, can they take it to another judge?
Or is her no, the final no?

Reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit. The first part of the opinion makes clear that ruling for plaintiffs would require overruling precedent, which they typically aren’t in the business of doing.

Judges ignore precedent whenever they feel like it.

Didn't hype her from over here.
No surprise at all with a pretentious social posturer from Orleans with a hyphenated last name.
Wanted Pryor, but somebody obviously convinced Trump about how it would look if they didn't replace a female with a female.
If it had to be a female it should've been Jeanine Pirro. That's right, a reality court t.v. host.
Just for the entertainment, and the shock value to the Left with the unavoidable frenzy, gnashing of teeth, and hysteria.
Guaranteed the decisions would be in stark contrast to Barrett's.
But also wanted Jay Sekulow from the very beginning as AG and not the gutless wonders/hedgehogs we got in Sessions and Barr.

This board loved her. She's from Louisiana, she's one of us! She's a Catholic!
What a crock. She was a bad choice and this board should have seen it from the beginning.

If you are asking if they can just go to another Supreme Court justice the answer is no. Justice Barrett is assigned to the 7th Circuit and makes the decision since she is responsible for emergency appeals in that circuit.
The students lost in Fed Dist court and in the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals and made an emergency appeal to SCOTUS. Normally these aren't really the decision of the single justice and if other justices feel it should be heard they will let the deciding justice know. It was a simple notation of denial on the docket with no order or explanation which is not unusual in decisions on the emergency docket.

I’m guilty. She and Kavabaw are nothing but pushovers. They can be leveraged.
Trump’s SCOTUS picks are my biggest gripe with him.
Turtle and Graham were slick.
