Yes, because it ignores all the months of insane inflation before it fell. You're essentially cherry picking two random points and saying "see inflation wasn't as bad under Biden" when it was objectively worse by any real measure. This is like trying to explain per capita to a Canadian.

Not to mention inflation was inevitable coming out of the pandemic. Both administrations have ownership there but you won't get these knuckle draggers to connect the dots.

So all of this means that my noting that the inflation rate was lower in October 2024 than it is in October 2026 is wrong?
It's simple. Ask AI for an encompassing apples-apples number:
What was the average of the monthly CPI rates during Biden's term, and for Trumps 2nd term to date?
Joe Biden's Full Term (January 2021 – January 2025)
Average YoY CPI Inflation Rate: ~4.9% – 5.0% across the 48 months.
Donald Trump's Second Term to Date (January 2025 – Present)
Average YoY CPI Inflation Rate: ~2.7% – 2.9% to date.
Joe Biden's Yearly Breakdown:
2021: 4.7%
2022: 8.0% (peaked at 9.1% in June 2022)
2023: 4.1%
2024: 2.9%
Donald Trump's Yearly Breakdown:
2025: 2.6% – 2.7% average
2026 (Through Recent Reports): ~3.4% average

1/2 gal of milk was $1.99 pre Covid-19, today it's $3.25 for a 1/2 gallon. one pound of 80/20 ground beef in 2019 was around $3.85, in 2024 the cost was $5.40 pound, today it's around $6.00 a pound.
I love when people advertise they inhale propaganda.
Milk and beef prices are high because 3/4 of the US's cattle herd is in drought conditions and that has caused farmers and ranchers to drastically shrink the herds. Its supply and demand. Not inflation.
Now..... are you going to run back to that propaganda?

OK mind reader
Maybe you forgot that he wanted the CARES package to be bigger than it was? Maybe you forgot he wanted the welfare checks sent out with his name on it?
You can pretend he had no part in this. And all that does is prove that you live in a fictional world.

My portfolio is absolutely crushing it
I know you don’t have one of those so keep on going into Walmart and cashing in your coins at the kiosk for a 10% fee

Prices are insane.
The data says they're not.
The reason people think they are is because they are only comparing raw prices to what they were two-five years ago and ignoring the context of inflation.
When you correct for inflation, you get...

Must be a race thread. Certainly isn’t comparisons of intellect. They both seem cognitively limited.

Yikes. This is pretty bad. You aren’t good with numbers are you?

My favorite people are the one cheering on Trump’s inflation because it’s “better” than Biden. What a comparison. Let’s keep aiming for the fences there with Biden comparisons
Posted on 10/13/26 at 9:38 pm to BeeFense5
And inflation was under control by the time Biden left office. The Iran war set us back on an inflationary course.

Are you arguing the data is inaccurate? You can even see the slope of the raw price change relative to the inflation adjusted cost.
