In 2008, middle-class workers spent about 7.8% of household income on premiums and deductibles.

By 2018, that figure had climbed to 11.5%.

You can argue that Obamacare helped certain people in certain situations.

But the entire point of the law was to make healthcare more affordable for ALL Americans. It failed to do that, which means the law failed.

He didn’t prance around the country in 2009,2009, and 2010 claiming it was meant to help a select few. He told the nation we would all benefit

This is a lie. It was intended to help those few Americans that didn't have coverage, despite the fact that we have medicaid and EMTALA. It was about fairness, not about helping people the masses.

After reading that article: the ACA worked perfectly IMO

They knew it would cost working-class people more and hoped it would be a step toward single-payer taxpayer-funded healthcare.

You mean that was the hidden intent.

It was sold a lot closer to the way the OP described it. Pointing out that the Obamacare admin lied about it doesn’t really address his point.

Oh no it wasn’t. How many times we were told the average person going to save $2,500 a year on premiums? By the POTUS?

Who could have guessed a social welfare program which the gov FORCED PRIVATE INSURERS TO PAY FOR would have a negative impact on the majority of people?

The ACA was written by health insurance companies, for health insurance companies. So yes, it works perfectly.

They paid less but didn’t have real insurance. Now the insurance covers chemically castrating their children so it’s worth the extra cost.

A government program turning out to be an under performing and over priced boondoggle?

Shocked. Shocked I tell you.

Not exactly

It was a sort of best choice from a bunch of bad options.

Like being forced ti choose a kick in the nuts or a cigarette burn on your dick head.

That 3.7% rise is due primarily to increases in TDS.

Obamacare was a success. It was meant to cause havoc and make people want universal health care.

Just like their approach to passing Obamacare, the Dems are now saying we have to impeach Trump so we can learn what he did to deserve it.
