Today the @WhiteHouse fully restored @Acosta's press pass. As a result, our lawsuit is no longer necessary. We look forward to continuing to cover the White House.

quote:

"Having received a formal reply from your counsel to our letter of November 16, we have made a final determination in this process: your hard pass is restored," the White House said in a new letter to Acosta. "Should you refuse to follow these rules in the future, we will take action in accordance with the rules set forth above. The President is aware of this decision and concurs."

So tired of winning.

Can't they just not call on him?

He will violate the rules and keep showing his as on national TV.

He doesn't know anything else anymore.

He just won't ever be called on again. Will be fun to watch him squirm and beg for attention

If they get CNN to get control of Acosta and follow the rules as outlined in the WH directive (like everyone else basically already does) then this sounds like a good result.

Winning? The WH got the rules they wanted implemented. I think you will start to see a more well behaved press corp now.

Exactly, that's what a smart WH press corps would have done.

Now they have egg on their face by losing a court decision to CNN and then just folding.

Dude would never get called on. Or if he is Trump should just use the time to bash the media. That’s what helps Trump

Sure.

Or they can call on him and if he acts like an arse, they cancel the whole thing because of him.

Then let the rest of the press who got punished due to him, deal with him.

Blanket party.

They won't revoke his pass for what happened at the Nov 7th press conference, full stop.

That's what Acosta and CNN were suing over and they won. The WH lost.

You are the one with a reading comprehension deficiency.

But the threat remains, in spite of your incorrect OP, to revoke his pass in the future if he violates the new rules.
