The IRGC and these radical politicians in Iran with ties to the IRGC will never change. If we are extremely lucky we get them to keep some agreement made till Trump leaves office. I used to think we would get that amount of time for sure. I don’t think that really anymore. It’s going to be this on again off again type thing until Trump leaves office. Then they will just close the Strait and make a new President prove he will stop them. If the Navy leaves the area now I can promise you ships will be paying tolls just as soon as the Navy gets far enough away. It doesn’t matter how we got to this point or if regime change was part off the original mission. I can tell you if we are going to bring Iran back under control then regime change is now on the menu. It’s the only way to solve this problem once and for all or all this was for not and all we did was make things worse.

Your claim.
quote:

We were deliberately going out of our way to kill the children of Iranian officials.

While proven wrong, with your own link.
quote:

No, it repeats the admin line.

So find a link that proves the US deliberately went out of our way to kill the children of Iranian officials.

Nothing emotional.

Well, daddy says 40k so you best get your arse in line.

whatever you say, son.

quote:

The funny thing is that if their lie wasn't exposed, you'd be just as confidently saying Iran bombed themselves accidentally.

They’re a theological authoritarian regime with a secret police who has killed their own routinely

I can’t imagine trying to carry water for such while trying to claim the US military went out of its way to kill kids.

You do you, bitchboy.

Hey, remember that time you made a claim and then acted like your link supported your claim when your link soundly went against your claim?

I member.

This isn’t going to do shite. All we’re doing is launching strikes on IRGC ships that come through the strait.

Trump needs to grow a pair and go scorched earth on Tehran like we did earlier in the year or just fricking pull out of the war altogether. Enough of this stupid arse guarding the strait bullshite.

Trump is trying to deal his way out of this problem and leave it to the next guy to fix. I just don’t think Iran is gonna let him deal his way out so he better start finding some kind of alternative solution or this mess will just keep on getting worse than it presently is and the Republicans will answer for it in the midterms and in 28.

He doesn’t have a solution. Like you said, he’s going to drag this out probably for the rest of his remaining term, assuming the Democrats don’t impeach him if they win midterms.

The guy is just a flat out fricking idiot when it comes to military strategy. There’s no sugar coating it. He went into this with no back up plan at all and it’s put us into a precarious situation.

So Trump is seeking to tread water on this thing that has been intentionally turned into a political hot potato for the next 2+ years, with the goal of leaving it to the next guy to deal with? I’m not sure that adds up. All due respect, of course, dear sir.

I think that may be Iran’s thinking. Play this game with Trump and agree to a deal then violate it up until about September. Then they will go to really acting up and attack ships and get the Insurance companies coving these ships to shut down the Strait again. Then gas prices spike again right before the midterms. Iran may be betting that the American people get pissed and elect Dems this November. If they come in they will impeach Trump and even if Trump doesn’t leave office they may be hoping it keeps him too busy to worry about them.

I don’t see how it’s doing anything else to be honest. As I said earlier we are still waiting on them to honor the original 2 week ceasefire. Trump keeps holding or pulling his punches to keep them negotiating a deal they will never follow. The way forward has been clear for a good while. Finish the war and get this over with and stop wasting time about it. Stringing this out pursuing some worthless deal isn’t cutting it.

Hey, remember that time
I remember when you expected me to believe that the most advanced military in the world was relying on 7 year old intelligence in a conflict with a country that we consider (at least publicly) an existential, nuclear threat. With a straight face, apparently.

You expect government employees to be 100% correct?

What happened to the rest of your original response? Did you get told to simmer down?

All you have to do is simply say the words.

I was wrong. The US government did not go out of their way to intentionally kill the children of IRGC members.

Your own link calls you liar.

Oh. And I don’t give a shite if trump said 40k were killed. Good for him. I believe it’s more likely to be 40 casualties. I could be wrong. Trump could be wrong.

What’s not wrong, is that Iran is ruled by a theocratic autocracy with a secret police who has routinely killed their own citizens. They absolutely did so in January.

What does it matter if it’s one innocent death or 40k, right? I guarantee it was more than we killed in that school.

@ Iran International English. Because of course bluesoy would use them as a source, even when the quotes they use from Trump directly contradict what they said just above it.

It's a direct quote.

This quote was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump on June 16, 2026, during a meeting with the Emir of Qatar. He used the exact phrasing, "At least 42,000 protesters were killed in Iran, killed, because they were protesting," while discussing his administration's diplomatic engagements

Try reading that again and figure out how saying that they've killed two levels of leadership is not in any way, shape or form the same as saying, "while saying he does not support regime change."

Nice sourcing, by the way. Next this dipshit will be sourcing Baghdad Bob for his arguments.

I mean, I don’t expect any employee to be 100%.

I expect those whose pay is not dictated by their output to be even less effective (govt workers)

There’s an entire branch of the military with the stereotype of eating crayons.

What did your PM say?

7 Year old intelligence in a military engagement against a country that has long been identified as a major threat? Regarding military targets? No, I don't think even you really believe that.

Didn't get one. They just whacked the post.

I notice you didn't call me a liar about my IDF claims. That was wise.

Maybe you’ll find that elusive link that proves your angle!

Speaking of… remember when you claimed your source did so but you didn’t really read the source and the source really proved you wrong? I member.
