She has no shot in Texas.

A single issue Candiate is not winning an executive branch seat.

In November 2003, Wendy Davis moved out.

Jeff Davis said that was right around the time the final payment on their Harvard Law School loan was due. “It was ironic,” he said. “I made the last payment, and it was the next day she left.”
quote:

A former colleague and political supporter who worked closely with Davis when she was on the council said the body’s work was very time-consuming.

“Wendy is tremendously ambitious,” he said, speaking only on condition of anonymity in order to give what he called an honest assessment. “She’s not going to let family or raising children or anything else get in her way.”

He said: “She’s going to find a way, and she’s going to figure out a way to spin herself in a way that grabs at the heart strings. A lot of it isn’t true about her

I apologize I was on my phone and submitted it quickly. I didn't know this was for an English grade.

There would be no need to attack her personally if she wouldn't conveniently leave out important details of success story. Basically her story is you can be a single mother living in a trailer park and with a little hard work you can graduate from Harvard Law School. She doesn't mention the facts that she had her dad hook her up with a rich lawyer 13 years older than her who was the person who actually paid for her schooling and took care of her children. Then divorced him immediately after her schooling was paid off.

Usually true, but this one appears to be spot on.

As long as you apply this argument to every guy who dumps his wife then your revelation is fine.

For example, When a wife works when a man goes to kaw school do you say he is whoring himself out?

I'd say if he dumped her right after the last payment was made, he's fair game.

oh yeah

plus if he gave up custody and paid child support b/c the kids weren't politically necessary at that time...for sure

i had no clue she didn't get custody of her kid. that's fricking amazing

How does a judge award her child to an unrelated man? That doesn't make sense if she was a halfway decent mom.

It's the Dallas Morning News.

They call themselves a "progressive conservative" newspaper (isn't that like calling yourself a "Christian atheist?).

Not surprisingly, they oppose the death penalty in all cases (no matter how evil the condemned is). They dislike the Tea Party. They support ObamaCare and don't like how Texas isn't creating its own healthcare exchange.

In other words, about 90 percent of the time, if it's liberal, they support it; if it's conservative, they oppose it. (The 10% is to keep conservatives like myself subscribing, though I read the sports section more than any other. This is one of those 10% stories.)

No kidding. In Texas the female gets child support in almost every case, especially in Tarrant County. The only exceptions are if the mother 1) is an addict, 2) is in prison, or 3) abandons the child.

Can I attack you personally since you left out important parts in an attempt to mislead the reader, something you accused Wilson of doing?

She divorced when the daughter the two had together was in the 9 th grade. So it's your contention that she married a man and stayed with him for over 15 years so he'd pay her law school education? And that she never paid her student loan after she began practicing?

You're a damn liar. Far worse a liar than you contend Wilson is.

She didn't seek custody. And she voluntarily gave child support.

Especially in TX where family law heavily favors the mother.
