Watching “conservatives” now use the two things they blame the most for high costs of healthcare in this country (red tape and lawsuits) as shields has become a parody of itself.

Those "conservatives" are not consistent at all. That's what happens when they let their emotions rule their decisions like the Left.

You're assuming that the 94.6% didn't get it because they are immune. The majority of the population probably hasn't had the virus because they weren't exposed to it, yet.

I haven't had the virus (that I'm aware of), but I don't consider myself immune.

No. I'm assuming it based on published double-blinded studies involving ~80,000 participants for the mRNA vaccines.

They don’t even mention what “infected” is or what symptoms are.

We will find out over the next several months as we see the effects of variations of mutated versions of the virus on a couple of billion vaccinated people (worldwide) as we run the biggest medical trial in history.

If the pandemic goes away , then the ability to cheat and steal elections goes with it . They won’t have the excuse for mail in voting . The government is not your friend democrats are filth , and republicans follow the lead to line their pockets . This whole thing was a orchestrated plan to get Trump out .

Over the coming weeks and months, we can expect a large number of preprints and papers reporting 'breakthrough infections', i.e. infections in vaccinated individuals.

Most studies on 'breakthrough infections' will likely be statistically underpowered. Yet the ones with the most lurid and alarmist message will probably get most media coverage and attention.

In anticipation, I'd like to make a few points already.

1. A proportion of breakthrough infections are expected. Otherwise, vaccine trials would all have reported 100% efficacy.

Breakthrough infections are a trivial concern as long as they don't lead to serious disease in the infected, and onward transmission of the virus remains limited.

3. The frequency of breakthrough infection is expected to be highest soon after after the first jab and go down over time. For vaccines with two doses, it is questionable whether infections prior to the booster should even be referred to as 'breakthrough infections'.

4. Breakthrough infection frequency is expected to vary for different #SARSCoV2 'variants'. Though at this stage, there is no 'vaccine escape' viral lineage in circulation, despite claims to the contrary.
6/

5. Breakthrough infection frequency is expected to vary between demographies, i.e. highest in those least able to mount a robust immune response.

This is how you lay the ground work for distraction, along with the border chaos, so folks might not see them stealing everything else besides and election or two.

The headline is misleading. The study doesn’t indicate the variant affects vaccinated more than unvaccinated in the sense that being unvaccinated somehow protects you better from the variant.

The study looked at 400 vaccinated people that tested positive after getting the shot compared to 400 unvaccinated people that tested positive. Since the vaccine is mostly stopping regular covid, that skews the data as you would expect that a vaccinated person testing positive would have the variant. Unvaccinated testing positive have the likelihood of either one, with regular covid being more prevalent it would be the likely cause.

Probably published the same way the mask mandates were.

NC_Tigah is a physician

That's great. Physicians also prescribed vioxx, bextra, meridian, and many others for years before they were pulled for serious side effects. Physicians also used to perform lobotomies and blood letting and thought heroin was a great remedy for coughing. They aren't infallible. They can only work with the information they have, and the information for the long term effects of the vaccine are non-existent. Be a guinea pig if you want, but there's no reason to deride those that choose to wait for actual evidence, especially considering the extremely low impact the virus has on the majority of people.

The point is that no one can possibly know the long term side effects for a drug that has only been out a few months. To pretend otherwise is foolish.
