It sure got quiet in here once everyone realized the true reason she quit is she didn’t want to be a nurse anymore.

Are you trying to be flippant or just retarded in general?

Make them fire her. Also, go on in and advise them you are not taking it and have retained an attorney and show them your completed application for unemployment benefits

She might be able to get them forever ha ha

She is PRN, so not a full time employee I am guessing. They don't have to fire her, just stop calling her in for shifts.

She can't find a nursing job somewhere else?

She is burnt out and doesn't want to be a nurse anymore. It really isn't all about the vaccine.

She will probably rest up a year, then get vaccinated, then start working again. If not, sooner.

Takes courage to lose your job by not educating yourself. Good luck to her.

My wife retired from nursing after 30 years because she has MS......................but if she was still working and this was imposed on her she'd be done with her employer also.

RN's are different creatures...thank god for them always.

Hopefully everyone takes that stance. I saw a video of a nurse on TikTOk (yeah i know i know) but they were saying the same thing. If everyone said "frick you fire me then im not getting the shot" they cant fire everyone.

If my dad was in the ICU because of a heart attack or stroke, and caught COVID from an unvaccinated nurse, I’d be furious/litigious.

She’s a nurse, she knows better. Good for her employer, shame on your wife.

YOU should know better. Vaccinated people can unknowingly carry a higher viral load, and are, therefore, just as contagious if not more so than an unvaccinated person.

As of now it sounds like all major hospitals in north georgia, Atlanta area are going to this policy from what she heard today. Wellstar, Northside, Piedmont and Emory.
Those are pretty much the main hospital groups.

For you retards saying she is burnt out. That’s not the case. We are fortunate enough for her not to have to work full time anymore. She wanted to keep her license and her skills though as kids are grown she could pick up more shifts when she wants. There is a difference between wanting to work and having to work. All of us as free nation would love that choice.
What is mind boggling to me in some of the posts are the people who are totally ok with the mandates and forcing of people to do things.
Some of us have a line. It’s scary to see how many people are willing to bend over.

And this at a time of severe shortages of nursing professionals, when hospitals, nursing homes, etc. are offering thousands of dollars in sign-up bonuses, etc.

Health care has been getting worse lately, and it's about to take a huge hit again.
