She is a strong person who is willing to pay a price for her beliefs. We all have to decide where our boundaries are with the federal government seeking total control of our lives.

Praying that come Christmas time y’all will be looking back and saying it’s the best thing to ever happen to your family, career wise. 99/100 that’s what happens in these situations.

Sorry to hear that.

Of course it's not like there's any shortage of nurses. Right?

I hope all these hospital systems mandating the vaccine collapse when they lose up to half of their workforce.

My wife as well. 17 years. She's serious about walking out rather than take it. We can make it but I feel for some and the hardship this bullshite is creating. I'm kinda jazzed about it in a way. We'll finish our lives together like we started them 40 years ago. So frick your vaccine. You've done us a favor in a way.

Yep, make them fire her and collect unemployment off their insurance for what she is due.

No reason for her career to end. There are other options. Every hospital, doctors office or healthcare facility does not require it.

Just had a friend come over this morning, daughter is currently recovering from child birth. He said a few of the nurses said they were quitting, we weren't even talking about the jab. He just mentioned it.
My sister-in-law works as staffing administrator at a major hospital chain. She has 40 years in nursing. No jab. She said the administration discussed requiring it and she told them that if they did, they would not be able to provide the critical care because there were too many nurses and support staff that they could not quickly or easily replace if they walked out. They backed off.

That's the beauty of free market competition. But it will be gone when the authoritarian takeover is complete.

There are other nursing positions out there

Correct. Same amount of nursing positions as Trump got votes…A LOT. OP’s wife will land on her feet pretty damn quick.

Before she quits, see if they'll put their money where their mouth is.

A lot more nurses are quitting because they are tired of dealing with dumbasses that won’t get vaccinated

The funny part is that they could so easily be defeated if we would all come together & stand up to their bullshite. I’ll never understand why people think they have to do what they’re told to do by corrupt “authority” figures.

In a practical world, there is nothing 'easy' about what you're talking about. Our leverage and power slipped away quite some time ago.

All the medical professionals are scared of this vaccine. Really makes you think.

Yes. The free market will ultimately be unable to defend itself.

That said I neither fault the hospital system or the man's wife for their decisions here.

Atlanta?

Yea. This is your chance to dump that shooting gallery and move to North Mississippi, put any kids you have in great Desoto County Schools, live cheaper, and your wife will have a job in the Baptist Hospital system tomorrow.
