What is the full context?
If we stop eating cows, somehow the world will be a better place and there will be no crime, death, illness, ugly fricks, bad super fresh air for all.....just give us your double tax money and we'll start an allergy in meat using deadly ticks...
Understand now? Basically, they are liberals like you

I caught this about 12 years ago and didn’t even know that I had been bitten. High fever, pounding headaches, joint pain. Still suffer the effects of it, nasty shite.

This already happened. It is called alpha gal and you get it from ticks. Makes you allergic to any meat from a cloven animal. It is terrible. I know 5 people who have gotten this disease in the last 5 years.
Whoa. Here I was reading the thread, noticed "alpha gal" thinking "she" was a past poster.
So "alpha gal" is already a real disease? Well...looks like this predictive-programming Tick-Meat sabotage has already hit the WEF "test-market". (By the time they always tell us what they may do "in the future", they've already done it.)

When me and my brothers would hunt ducks as preteens and had a bad day we never went home empty handed as black birds, robins, marsh hens or similar would cook just fine. Never knew what filleting was as I grew up in a swampy area and perch was the majority of catch, nothing to catch 20 in a morning before 9am. We scaled and gut them to fry.

Sure Jan.
Let’s poison meat and replace it with insects in the name of junk climate change science. We are all just misunderstanding!

What is a plausible full context that would make a suggestion like that reasonable?

Brutha, I try to understand you. I try to be fair -- I actually enjoy your commentary. But at times (like this) you go completely off the rails for whatever reason. You're 100% wrong on your indictment.

The dude has reached a stage in his megalomania where he believes he can win any argument with anyone human by simply reframing everything, spewing pseudo intellectual gobbledygook, and declaring his detractors inferior.
It’s been sad to watch.

What was dishonest? Was this comment not made at the WEF?

Nobody ITT has supported his theory.

Liao is a philosopher who specializes in extreme thought experiments about climate ethics. He really does argue provocative stuff, and this one is viscerally unsettling for obvious reasons.
There’s a big jump between "philosopher exploring a boundary case" and "coordinated plan to medically alter populations". The interesting question isn’t whether the idea is gross (it is) but what the actual pathway from a paper or a panel to real-world coercion would be. Courts, regulators, medical ethics boards, and public backlash would all light up immediately.
What's interesting is how fast creepy hypotheticals turn into a monolithic "they want to do this to us" stories. That narrative shortcut does work here regularly.

The context isn't about the suggestion, old chap

Hence why the dishonesty in the title needed to be called out, and the priming explained to those who were clearly primed by the dishonesty.

That’s generally what context means. I’ve caught up on the thread a little and see now you are referencing some imaginary distinction between him being at the WEF saying this (the OP) and him being an official spokesman of the WEF? I’m not exactly sure what you are creating.
