He is saying We shall become VIRTUOUS through the State. There will be warmth now. The State will make you morally upright. It will save your soul, cleanse you of the selfishness and ambition of your previous ways, redeem you from your fallen state. It will perfect you.
Man as God. It couldn’t be more obvious than his words. It’s in perfect opposition to Individual Liberty.

The problem is, it will spread once it gets a foothold. The media will not cover the failure and only air the happy recipients.

Islam doesn't permit alcohol.
What's gonna happen to all the bars in the 5 boroughs?
The NYC economy would collapse.

I'm cheering him on. He needs to enact all that communist shite, and do it at breakneck speed. Hell, conservatives should set up a GoFundMe campaign to support his efforts. A little capitalism to give a boost to his efforts to fight capitalism.
It would be best for the country if we don't see this little experiment in measured/vague steps. Let's get the communist party rolling. In NYC.

That is true. The good thing is- we are the news now. There are millions of Nick Shirleys who will tell this story. It will be shared far and wide.

Collective dream work!
@magills_
TBH I like the refreshing honesty about what the future holds.

Scores of Zohran Mamdani fans who braved freezing temperatures to celebrate the new mayor as he was publicly sworn into office Thursday were left disappointed by the bash the socialist pol had promised.
Around 10,000 supporters stood outside City Hall during the event — billed as an “Inauguration for a New Era Block Party” by Mamdani’s staff — crammed into several barricaded pens without access to bathrooms or any food concession stands.
“It’s definitely not a block party,” said Danny Mahabir, 30, an Astoria resident who told The Post he’d been expecting a mix of food and music at the New Year’s Day festivities.

Oh, you mean the people tbat just elected a Democrat. Yes, we should definitely celebrate moronic parasitic New Yorkers moving to the South to destroy our states as well.
The people leaving New York did not vote for that commie muzzie. Native New Yorkers overwhelmingly did not vote for him... and well-to-do NYCers did not either.

NYC is the largest, most populated city in this country, the international gateway to the USA, and the financial hub of our nation. This is not good. But aside from that it will be interesting to see everything unfold over the next year or so.

I don't totally disagree with you but we all know the narrative will shift as needed.
"We weren't allowed to implement our policies" (many of them he cannot implement himself, and would need the state to push them through)
"The companies and wealthy (still) aren't paying their fair share"
"We need more time"

I'm going to try not to take too much pleasure in seeing the white liberal females and soy boys who voted for this, be victimized by unfettered violent crime and practicioners of the religion of peace in their own town. Let them live with the consequences of their moronic tribally leftist vote. You made your bed, now lie in it, motherfrickers.

I've said it before, but Orwell wrote 1984 as a warning. Progressives are using it as an instruction manual.

The practical result will be a big increase in arson among low rent apartment buildings. That happened back in the 70's and 80's, but this time it looks like the commie Muslim is going to stir the pot even more with his ideological idiocy.

Do you see it?
I do.
But for some reason, our corporate media doesn’t.
