We should support Senator Elizabeth Warren’s “Ultra Millionaire” wealth tax

Senator Elizabeth Warren has done the math. The federal government could fund child care for EVERY 3-4 year old in America if we simply tax ultra wealthy types like Elon Musk on their obscene wealth. Imagine if you could send your child to a Learing Center for free. And the only thing we have to lose is a bully like Elon losing money that would otherwise sit in interest bearing accounts. What a vision! Do you support Senator Warren?

So, we spend tens of millions of taxpayer money, use thousands of hours writing up the new tax law, and add another chapter to the tax code. Takes a fortune of time and money to get, lets say, 50 million from Elon.
The day its implemented, Elon spends 5 minutes setting at his computer and increases his prices on everything he sells and services by a total of 200 million. Done.
Or he lays off enough employees to cover the loss.

They should lead by example. Contribute their own wealth first. Pretty much every senator and congressman is a millionaire. Tired of rich bitches bitching about the people who are richer than them.

Their goal isn't $50m. Imo, those dumbasses want at least 90% of his net worth. Want his stocks and properties.
Meanwhile, only about 0.5% of that money will be used for what it was meant for. And the centers it does open up will most likely be run by Somalis who will cut corners and be as low quality as possible in order to put most of the funding into their own pockets.

Because I could less about giving benefits and monies to those who’ve made poor life choices and now expect me to basically keep them alive. It’s not my responsibilities to raise your kids, put a roof over your head, or food on your table. If those necessities were taken away maybe just maybe folks would get motivate to be productive. This generation would never survive the Great Depression time period.
