Why do you call yourself a libertarian yet exclusively attack repubs on here?

And you and your ilk frequently argue that owning certain types (or any type) of firearms should cost an American their freedom and/or their citizenship. You should try thinking harder before making arguments you don't have the intellectual honesty to support.

Too bad it isn’t reversed. You would be lamenting the unfairness of liberals being banned.

Burning anything on anyone’s property is and always will be illegal.

Burning a flag on private or public property in peaceful protest should be of course legal. A cross as well, as long as it doesn’t destroy property, or physically hurts someone.

This isn’t complicated.

Yet they still bring up the old burning cross analogy.

Flag burning should not be illegal in the correct circumstances. Obviously if I'm in a distillery, burning the flag is a danger to everyone involved.

Fat finger upvote. This is a shitty analogy as randomly burning shite on anyone's property is probably illegal. Hell, just standing on someone's lawn and yelling at them would be considered disturbing the peace or public nuscence.

I've seen some get charged with arson as well burning something on someone else's property.

Beating the shite out of somebody who does should be a $5 fine

I wish you were as adamant about protecting "hate speech" as you are about flag burners. Any prior restraint on any form of political speech should be per se unconstitutional.

Insane that you think words should equate violence.

I'm libertarian and go after the conservatives pretty hard. It's more because a large portion of the liberals on this board are just so far away from my point of view its useless to even debate them.

The government telling someone they can't burn a flag is big government. I mean how hard is that to understand?

Because 98% of this board are Republicans. If there were posters here that kept jerking off Hillary I'd do the same shite. I'm just not here enough to see the posts

There's a lot of things the govt says we can't do, some I agree with some I don't, where the govt crosses the line to big govt to me is when they start nationalizing industries, jacking up taxes on businesses instead of cutting taxes to facilitate more jobs and taxpayers, imposing burdensome regulations, making people dependent on them with entitlements, stuff like that, to each their own I suppose

No, it isn’t

Burning a flag is a physical threat. It has nothing to do with speech

Burning things in public are an obvious fire and safety risk
