The left has really boxed themselves in on this issue.

I hope they st etch before attempting the mental gymnastics needed to deal with this catch-22.

How is it a Catch 22? What does an incursion into the process by a hostile power have to do with domestic IDing of the citizenry? Are there any credible claims of Russia (or any other foreign power) literally causing different votes at the ballot box?

That's not the test for infringement, however. Good talk.

Doesn't authorize federal gun regulations either. I'll trade you.

No. There are not.

But for some reason the entire news media has breathlessly if not hysterically been telling us that Russia has “interfered” in the election and we’re all supposed to be terrified and Trump was supposed to punch Putin in the face at a press conference because of it.

The best I can tell. Russia only went to some public events and ran some Facebook ads. But somehow, in so doing they were “interfering” in our election.

So I am assuming, by use of my sarcasm font that Jake Tapper must have been telling me the truth about this interference.

One way to stop letting Russia change our votes is to make sure Russians aren’t voting. And to make sure that Russians aren’t paying randos to pretend that they are someone else so they can vote illegally. We have to stop this. If not. We’re traitors.

You must clearly be a Russian Asset.

I get what your saying but I disagree, I think that an ID is not some difficult obstacle to anyone and is a sensible regulation to ensure the integrity of the vote.

The LEFT wants to allow illegal immigrants the right to vote; however, each one of them are from another country. How can we allow them to influence our elections? If it is not ok for the Rushians, then how is it ok for a person from any other country?
HRC paid an ex-British spy, who is not a citizen to create a dossier which was fake. The dossier lead to an investigation of a duly elected prez. The dossier was designed to affect our prez election. why isn't HRC and C. Steele in jail today? What they did was worse than the Rushians and anything Manafort did.
G. Soros also affects our elections. He has ties to organizations that paid people to protest under the BLM movement.
forget about the Rushians until we correct illegal immigrants coming into our country and affecting the outcome of our elections.

Well, they almost certainly did interfere in the election. This happens all the time across many different countries. I'm not massively outraged about it, but I'm also not going to pretend it didn't happen. I don't know and I don't care if it caused her highness not to be elected. All I know is, despite what came after, I got to laugh and laugh and laugh at those snowflakes at the Javits Center on election night as their beautiful tears flowed.
