I was tired of the constant overhyping of it even before the woke stupidity.
Every single week is not that fricking important.
CFB is getting that way. I like to decide what is important rather than having it dictated to me. At the core of it, they are still playing a child's game.

Then don’t watch. The issue is football fans don’t care enough to not watch the sport. If they did then this would have stoppped, but they don’t. They watch, go to games, and spend a fortune in (merchandise, sports betting, fantasy football). Those go away and so does the wokeness

I wonder what a half-season or even a cancelled season would do to the NFL domestically. The public wouldn't care as much as it did even 10 years ago.

This is simply not true. Popularity of the NFL has been pretty steady throughout his years of wokeness. 2023 was their second-best year ever. I reached my tipping point and permanently checked out before the 2020 season, but in all fairness, the NFL seems to have replaced us boycotters without missing a beat.
