Here's a watch company with owners from Ghana.

I say these companies and associations should partner up to offer urban watchmaking apprenticeships in our inner cities. Clearly it’s a win-win proposition.

Again, as always, I defer to simple statistics and math.
Of the 11%, how many have the inherent or have acquired the love of being a watchmaker for life.
Then, how many would go through the training to be a master at the craft and make a living at it.
Then, supposing they went all the way through to be a master watchmaker, how did it impact the percentage from the prior imbalance of them not being represented? Maybe .00000000001%
People are not critical thinkers anymore.

I appreciate your suggestion, and I understand your point.
Ignore the people who are beneath you.
That’s a very southern approach too.
But while we were doing that, ignoring them, these people took over the country. And that is a real problem, it does effect us.
