That's definitely how you should decide on who's best qualified to lead the free world; whether or not someone who annoys you on an obscure internet forum supports them.

Probably well over 90% of people who regularly post here will vote for Trump if he's the nominee. If we used your criteria it would be zero.

Trump says a lot of stupid stuff but one of his strengths is in debates especially on the offensive attack.

Ron would be a better match because he won't get nearly as mad and lose focus as Ted did.

But I think the debates would end in stalemates because both are pretty smart.

Why because he (DeSantis) can give a good stump speech? You know who else was a, well ur, was.... well, a good and polished speaker? Obama as long as nothing went off script, then he became a babbling idiot.

Trump is very quick witted, DeSantis won't know what hit him in a debate because Trump doesn't follow the traditional debate norms.

That's a crazy assertion to make. Trump has sat down at the table with anybody, anywhere. That's a plus for him.

Trump’s debate performance against Biden was one of the worst ever.

Trump will be in serious trouble in a debate with Ron. He knows it and why he’s looking for a way out.

I don't hate him. I realize you see 10-20 people being loud and making you think we all hate him, but we don't. But perception is reality.

I DO think Trump is unique in that he is not told to do anything by anyone. He is not beholden to anyone else's marching orders. I think we have an obligation to take this opportunity for a man that is free from those chains while we can. These opportunities do not happen. Ever.

People that are allowing themselves to get emotional when they are bickering back and forth are, of course, negatively affecting our collective cause. We are all VERY similar in terms of what we want America to look like on this board.

I suggest we all keep that in mind. We are ALL working our way thru a very, very pivotal time in our country's timeline.

Trump will destroy DeSantis in a debate.

Ron would be wise to not go there.

/\ this is almost my position /\
and I am leaning more this way every day.

I still think Trump DESERVES another term even if you HATE him

By ANY measure he was CHEATED out of his first term - he was effective neutered and accomplished what he did thru force of his will alone. Thank GOD all that worked out well for the nation even if the f'n nation is too f'n STUPID to realize it.

If there were true justice - we would suspend the succession rule and allow Trump to have TWO FULL TERMs if a TRUE vote could be arranged. Under any view, he was CHEATED out of his FIRST TERM.

HOWEVER = past injustice have to be mitigated by the inesorable march of the future - mortal age is undefeated. Trump is gettin old. I would not normally support another term at his age, certainly not two more terms.

SO again - my innermost desire is:
TRUMP/DeSantis ticket in 2024 - with absolute assurance (backed up by impeachment if required) for Trump to resign after two full years and turn the office over to DeSantis.
Let DeSantis vie for his future based on his performance in those two years.

BUT - allow Trump to extract some (legal and moral) VENGAENCE (legal and moral) for the CRIMEs and PERSECUTIONs and DEFAMATIONs that were heaped on him during those four (now 6) years of constant malicious attacks from the demonic cult.

THAT would be best for the future of this nation in this humble opinion

Agreed. The venom and hatred all comes from the soy boi's. IF desantis gets the nomination I will PROUDLY vote for him over biden. Though I might still call him desactimonious here just the anger the soy boi's.
