That’s not how it works

So Jim Jordan coordinates with McCarthy in the chamber, then is the one to nominate him again for the second ballot, and is currently the one getting the votes that prevent McCarthy from getting a majority?

They will have another vote after this and the only candidates that will be nominated will be McCarthy and Jeffries. McCarthy will then win.

Same ole sausage making.

I can't believe the Karl Rove's daring anyone to buck the status quo.

Does Kevin have his name on the door yet?

Kevin may pass it to Scalise. But it will be the same result.

So when will we get JJ?

What do you think KM will do? All who voted for him would vote for whoever he tells him.

The last 2 votes KM was walking around joking, laughing, all cocky.

Acosta (D) calling for a coalition of both parties as Speaker leadership roles.

Dems running to the news calling for a coalition leadership of both parties.

To those saying it is embarrassing...

GOP voters are rightfully wary that a Republican-led Congress will fail to fulfill campaign pledges and refuse to go to the mattresses on issues that matter most.

Probably never. For starters, he doesn't support his own candidacy. And neither does the Republican conference.

C-Span just said scuttlebutt is saying that the 19 are not bending to expect more votes for JJ-simply because he doesn't want it.

This is nuts.

The Karl Roves dismissing those that want change says why we need change.

McCarthy needs to step aside and let them elect Scalise before the Brian Fitzpatrick wing of the party makes a deal with Jeffries and we end up with Fred Upton or similar as Speaker.

The Gaetz group could always refuse to vote and let the clown show begin.

C-Span saying that Biggs said KM lost time to move on.

The democrats are told NOT to leave the chamber because then it would make it easier for KM.

Does Scalise think that a speech about how awful things are will get those 19 votes for KM?

Even a red meat speech doesn't polish the turd that is KM.
