Would anyone care to refute what Trump said in regards to all the good AB does?

Are they the only brewing company that employs people and vets and works with farmers? People aren't going to stop drinking beer because they stopped drinking AB products. Their loss will be someone else's gain, and it's a net neutral outcome for the industry. I'd imagine he has a motivation for championing AB, and it has frick all to do with making America great again.

I don't agree with any candidate 100% of the time. He makes a compelling point, but the problem with Bud Light is instead of owning a mistake and adjusting course immediately, firing the marketing director, apologizing for bastardizing the consumer base, they just never issued any kind of correction or did any damage control. I'm not a Bud product consumer before or after the Tranny fluid disaster. So I just enjoyed the spectacle they made of themselves.

And just for reference, I'm a Trump supporter.

If they were to fire everyone that had anything to with that ad and the people that hired them and have security physically throw them out of the building after using their heads to open the doors and then have a can that salutes straight white men I'd forgive them

Trump owns BUD stock.

It's common knowledge.

So you support AB now? Because after tranny-gate, 99% of this board swore them off.

Goal posts keep moving for the cult. They're losing track of their own stances.

Hate to see it.

I haven't purchased a Bud Light product since long before "tranny-gate"

What Trump said is not wrong. It was a mistake, mainly made by one woman, who is no longer with the company. That does not negate all the good AB has done and continues to do. I promise you, they got the message loud and clear.

Support them or don't, I don't care, but Trump is right. There are plenty of other woke companies that need to share in the attention of a collective boycott. Companies like Amazon, Target, etc.

Nope. Target and Bud Light are dead to a lot of people. Sure, a lot of businesses do woke things. Pick your battles. Bud Light picked theirs and so did Target. If you can justify it, fine, I cannot.

Lol.... While I support Trump, he's not wrong. Dana White said the same. Bud made a bad decision and paid dearly for it. Their being an American icon is indisputable.
Certainly, some here have never made a mistake and required a second chance, but most have....

If you don't agree, GFY.

There is validity in what he posted, and I do not give any crap to someone drinking Bud Light now.

They screwed up and it cost them $millions$, everyone deserves a second chance though.

I think that in a more civilized time the boycott would be the message sent and an appropriate apology and course correction could have allowed everyone to find a good middle ground and move on.

We unfortunately no longer live in a civil society. The people pushing the degeneracy that kicked off this shite storm will stop at nothing until everyone bows to them. AB and those involved deserve everything they’re getting. frick em.

This is the part I disagree with. I don't believe for a second that was a rogue marketing director who went behind everyone else's back and snuck this promotion in.

Also, they didn't fire her. She flew out on a golden parachute. They also have not apologized for shitting on their customer base, and they have not taken a stance against DEI policies and ESG scores which drove that marketing campaign to begin with.

frick them. Until they do all of the above, I hope they continue to hemorrhage.

Was it a mistake to boycott Bud Light
It is a mistake to refer to the Bud Light catastrophe as a "boycott." Bud Light was a case of atrocious loss of branding control in a field of similar products.

Bud Light was branded "Tranny Piss".
It stuck. Too bad, because it seems Tranny Piss is not an attractive image for light beer.

Has Anheuser-Busch learned its lesson? Nope! A-B's unapologetic Ex-CIA CEO, Brendan Whitworth, is still there. But I hear the horse train is coming back in new ads, so ...

No, and I've never supported a political candidate that agreed with me on everything.
