You weren’t even born when Iran took American hostages.

Pretending this war is about something that happened in 1979 is just stupid

1) So you are content with bombing 1 nuclear site, but not removing the threat entirely if it means higher gas prices?

It's not quite as simple as just "higher gas prices"

I’m a pretty big believer in mutually assured destruction.

Hell, a strong argument can be made that the effort to stop countries from securing weapons of mass destruction and/or nuclear weapons has killed more civilians than the weapons themselves ever have.

You know what i mean, though. Iran, if they had a modicum of intelligence, wouldn't keep their eggs in one basket, which they likely did not. So, that being said, bombing 1 nuclear enrichment site does not remove the threat of nuclear war completely. So, do we just stop there so gas/oil prices don't go higher, which in turn affect the prices of everything else?

And in comparison, this war with Iran, energy prices still aren't anywhere close to peak gas prices under Democrat control the previous 4 years, so I do find it hard to believe anyone really complaining about energy prices when there was tacit approval of the previous bumbling administration.

It’s been happening since then but the threat has only exacerbated over time. You know this.

You're assuming they can't go significantly higher than where they are now

If the strait isn't opened soon they will go significantly higher

Interesting. What's the beef between Israel and [insert random middle east country here]? What were all the previous Israeli wars about?

Totally fine with Operation Midnight Hammer. If the results were actually what we were told (total obliteration) then I still don’t understand why we started this war? Why not stop there and then just blow them the frick up again as soon as they start building nukes?

Actually, i don't think they will. They have about 4 hours left to make a deal then it will never be an issue. Unless Trump is bluffing...

What do you think is happening now? This is round 2 of Midnight Hammer.

Basically I want it done. As such since we’re heading in that direction, I’m happy about it. If it’s worrying you, then I’m sorry for you but not sorry shite will be going down.
