Discussion on the TV Board... BUt it seems more political in nature.

But I saw Colbert's Monolog for Thanksgiving. (Accidentally mind you). ANd I wanted to share briefly what I saw.

He opened his monolog Talking about Joe Biden pardoning Turkeys for thanksgiving... And instead of joking about Biden, he went on a 3 minute tirade of Turkey Jokes. The kind that 6th graders would tell... The audience just laughed and laughed.

I mean he was missing every single opportunity to to joke about the worst president in our History, but yet was spending 3 minutes making Turkey jokes that 3rd graders were envious of...

Then what he do?

He Then mentioned Trump... Started flashing stats on the screen. Quoting Scholars, Media, Professors, stat after stat, poll after poll, quote after quote. To finally get to make a Trump Joke about "How they got him now."

and the audience laughed and laughed...

I post this because I saw something. It was a blatant attempt to divert any jokes, criticism, or harsh words away from Biden when he had the most ample opportunity to do so, and his turkey jokes were meant to be some kind of Fair Play on cutting jokes about Biden equally.

But yet had to train and school his audience, both in person and on tv, to setup a scenario in which he could make a joke about Trump. It was as if he was having to prove something in which to make his joke funny or believable.

It shows that the people of this country can be swayed by fictitious information if presented properly.

I tell ya.. Colbert is able to do things that Goebbels could not.

Our Media really needs rebuilt. It's sickening. The power Colbert, Madonna, LeBron and other have over the minds of our youth is amazing.. ANd those people have way, way more money than the average youth who are voting by what they tell them...
