From our friends at Democratic Underground:
As you would guess, not ONE mention of Biden
If the President is ill, do the people have a right to know?
I will be watching this thread for more enlightenment on how to gauge a President’s health
As you would guess, not ONE mention of Biden
If the President is ill, do the people have a right to know?
quote:
Up to Trump, most candidates for the White House took a physical which the public knew about. But now, we don't know what condition that Trump may be in. His ankles swell up and he falls asleep, maybe due to lack of oxygen to his heart, might indicate a serious heart problem? I am not a doctor, so I only report what I have read.
But, it is a serious question. In my opinion, the people do have the right to know if their president is incapacitated with some serious health problem.
quote:
Especially if we are to believe that he is the “leader of the free world” involved in life and death negotiations with one hand on the red button.
Absofrickinglutely!
quote:
So hiding a president's health problems is nothing new, but Trump's age, mental instability and other apparent health issues are being denied so strenuously, and in fact are being obviously lied about, that it's become ludicrous.
quote:
Something is very wrong with this Administration. Hiding his health problems is just one of the many things that isn't working as it should.
quote:
Of course, we as taxpayers deserve to know about the health of our elected leaders.
quote:
But the gop scumbags will cover everything up about tRUMP's health, let him still be president despite his inability to perform the duties of his office.
I will be watching this thread for more enlightenment on how to gauge a President’s health

He is only CONSTANTLY in front of a camera.
He "had severe Alzheimer's" in his second term ending in 1988 but lived 15+ years after it.
Leftists are liars about anything that gets them closer to power. They care about NOTHING else.

On average, people with Alzheimer's disease live between three and 11 years after diagnosis. But some live 20 years or more.

So they sometimes die shortly after diagnosis or long after diagnosis is what you’re saying?

Why not simply watch him play golf and see how he interacts with everyone...
pretty simple to see his is healthy for his age and cognition is fine.

“We as taxpayers “ quote is funny as undoubtedly those serious people surely don’t pay taxes

Totally agree, especially with how tribal politics has become too.
But this is on another level. The “Biden story” should have been the biggest scandal in American political history if we had an even somewhat honest media and these people just brush it off like it’s nothing
Hence my use of, “peak.”

I saw them bringing up concerns over his health yesterday and I could be wrong but I just don't remember them questioning Bidens health. Biden was hidden from us for days even weeks and rarely ever did press conferences yet up until a month before he dropped out the dems would talk about how sharp Biden was
they are all POS...the media and democratic leaders

Meanwhile, in Bidenland:

Joe doesn't want the world to know his brain and mashed potatoes are one-in-the same.
However, I do believe Executive Privilege does apply here.

Former President Joe Biden has filed a lawsuit against the Justice Department seeking to block the release of files related to interviews he conducted with a biographer that later became a central part of a special counsel investigation into his handling of classified documents.
Biden's lawsuit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia seeks to block the Justice Department from releasing about 70 hours of audio files and transcripts to the House Judiciary Committee from interviews with ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer that were used for his 2017 memoir "Promise Me, Dad." The interviews were conducted in 2016 and 2017.
Biden and his attorneys have long maintained that the files are exempt from the Freedom of Information Act.
The suit comes after three separate Freedom of Information Act lawsuits were previously filed attempting to unseal them.
In one suit involving the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, attorneys for the Justice Department told a federal judge earlier this month they planned to release the files, with redactions, to both the committee and the Heritage Foundation on June 15 barring a ruling on the issue.
Mr. Biden asserted executive privilege over the recordings in 2024 after House Republicans attempted to access them.
However, I do believe Executive Privilege does apply here.

Someone having Alzheimer’s and living for 15 years afterwards is not out of the question like that poster implied it is.

They were only concerned with Biden after that debate because they knew President Trump was going to win.
How did that motherfricker get to serve the rest of his term after that? I'm not going to lie, I was concerned for those 7-8 months knowing that dementia ridden potato could push the button. But no one did anything about it. Crazy.

i don't think he made more than a few appearances after that. He was never available to the press or public and they said he had covid about 5x
