That ad was directly trying to benefit the down-ballot Republican state senator and state legislators
this is just one election there are many other to come and there are all sorts of statewide offices that she could run for
The Republicans are already planning if they lose the Lieutenant governor's races, they will rewrite the rules in the state Senate

My line in the stand is anyone supporting transgenders in female sports (I was a high school softball coach and current director of the Texas HS softball coaches association)
the second line is anyone who supports abortion (I was adopted at 3 days old in 1963 -- if that was today, I probably would have been aborted). I thank my adoptive parents everyday in my prayers to them in Heaven.
