I mean the Dems did here in VA a few years back, essentially gave away a seat in favor of independent more fair maps which do a better job of matching % of representation w the % of voters.
Texas is a 42% ish blue state, shouldn’t they have roughly that % in representation? Isnt that that the same argument ppl are making about republicans in New England?
Shouldn’t that be mostly reflected in every state? That’s the point.

You're right. They're dumber.

BS. They had their chance to 'oppose' Newsom.
They chose him.
I wouldn't trust any voting apparatus in California as being neutral.

You can't make districts that are representative of the overall voting patterns in every state. Some states only have one or two districts and there's no way to avoid a winner take all outcome in those states. Also in some states, the majority is simply too interspersed. For example Massachusetts has no republican district but you literally can't logically draw one. Every nook and cranny of that state votes blue. Same with Oklahoma.
But as a general rule, Democrats are at a disadvantage here because their voters tend to congregate in urban areas, coastal enclaves and college towns. They avoid suburbs and rural areas. You have to fill every inch of the canvas with paint and when all the blue paint hides in a few select areas, the red paint benefits from all the free space as a matter of geometry.

In every state, no you can’t. Agreed. Unless we adopt a new system (Yang?).
But as states get bigger/more populated you absolutely can mirror those proportions in a reasonable manner.

Newscum cares about Silicon Valley financial backers. They have overpromised and underdelivered, including Musk. The state will also not find any buyer for any of the closing refineries. No one wants to do business in CA in refining. Valero's stock went up the day after it announced it was closing. Refiners finding it far too expensive to operate in CA is NOT new. It started in the late 1980's

they way they run that state makes me wonder if they really chose Gavin.

I’ll also add they just had 3.1 million illegal/invalid registrations from the voter rolls. Funny Kamala won over Trump by that margin I think. And they’re not done removing yet. Gonna make stuffing ballots harder

CA needs to fix itself.

Let's see how honest you are: Have jackass Dems ever done this? Are there any states that have ZERO Republican reps in them?
You're gonna talk about everyone else, throw some more of your BS at us and see how it goes. Dems have done this forever, but now it's not right for others to play by those same rules? Kinda hurts the Dems iddy-biddy feelings.
