I've never understood this.

Your average schmo is told to keep his taxes for 5 years. Businesses are REQUIRED to keep records for years and years in a variety of areas so the government can check up on them.

But the government conducts the most key element of our entire system and then, immediately thereafter, commences to destroying records of it?

So it's not a good idea to bring charges against former presidents?

I disagree, Nixon should've been prosecuted, Obama should've been investigated at a minimum and once Biden is out, if he broke the law, bring charges.
