One baby boom is not like the other. That one was dudes coming back from kicking Nazi arse with a 3 hour a day hard on to breed. This one would be Diamond from Denham and Laquisha from Loranger and Sharika from Scotlandville gaming the system. Watch Idiocracy.

, man. I'm not cool with paying negroes and messicans $10K for them to pop out kids that responsible people will eventually have to support. We already do that enough. They don't need anymore incentives.

The black population isn’t growing, despite the all of the entitlement programs we currently have.

I’m black, and delayed gratification isn’t exactly one of our strengths. There’s zero chance a hood rat would care about this program, because if they can’t cash in that $10,000 on day 1, then the money may as well not exist. They surely won’t have extra kids so they can be millionaires in 50 years.

So taxpayers will have to fund this

Im not saying Im for this or against, but if it's tied to the S&P, how are tax payers funding this?

Nah. Those people wouldn’t care cause they don’t get the money right by away. Those types never play the long game.

I never understood and none of you have ever been able to explain to me why so many of you like Vivek, especially as a supposed Republican

It would've cost $36,226,730,000.00 last year.

The path to hell is paved with good intentions.

PE bro wants to fluff the S&P with tax money. There’s a big surprise.

Exactly.
And all ages born before the plan is implemented will become disadvantaged.

I know Vivek is wealthy, but can he afford to do this? Is he thinking their parents should save to fund it before getting preggers?

Laquisha won't be able to touch the money, and none of those babies will live to see 50 anyway. What is your dumb arse even whining about?

Really? Not one thing?

Do we have a history of certain demographics abusing welfare programs?

Let’s make corporations and government MORE powerful, they’re not powerful enough

So, about the same as the USAID budget this year?

Does anyone else find it bothersome that Vivek's poorly thought out musings are infinitely more brilliant than how we ACTUALLY spend taxpayer money

I think it would be a great idea.
Allow, them to pay it back with interest.
Imagine how much it would grow when they reach working age.
Then once they enter the workforce, they can start make payments on the original principle and the goverment would get low the low interest rate on it.

I dont see how you lose here.
Your talking about it would be worth about 30k by the time they are 21.

Everyone knows SS is a joke for what you pay into it.
Berine Maydoff would have done better manging SS than the goverment.

Very generous of Vivek. Didn’t realize he had that much money….

Oh wait, he’s being generous with government money. Ever notice how easy it is be “generous” with other people’s money?

Then its 20K that's needed.
Then we need the banks.
Then we need the power.
All of it.

The S&P would be over priced after the first year. Then down the road when the program ends the price would crash.

Sounds like a great way to give to some and screw over someone else.
