The things you convince yourself of to support the Democrats. It’s never actually about Democrat’s ideas but always some goofy issue you have with the Republican because the Democrats have no ideas that actually work so you make up dome bs reason.

If you really don't, then you need to stop arguing for tariffs.
Both are designed to do the same thing, the difference being that tariffs benefit a small fraction of Americans while costing all other Americans more money, while disallowing immigration that costs Americans jobs has no downside.

If the ds get back in the floodgates will be open so i would assume trying to get anything on the books merit based with a cap would be a homerun
