I agree for the most port. Our culture has turned to shite.
But the answer isnt to bring in MORE H1Bs. This only digs a deeper hole to get out of!

He's right.
It makes me sad that Americans aren't the hard assed, industrial people that made this country the super power it is.
My brother is a genius and tutors about 40 hrs per week (on top of being a patent lawyer) in the DC area. Almost all of his students are dot Indians because the whites don't have the desire or discipline to study the way they do.
It's going to be ugly for this young generation of white Americans. Like the old BR-459 song, "Too Lazy To Work, Too Nervous To Steal."
It makes me sad that Americans aren't the hard assed, industrial people that made this country the super power it is.

It’s surprising that so many are defensive of America’s influencer/gamer/coddling culture.
Surely many of you have sat in classrooms with kids from immigrant families or had children sit in those classrooms.
The contrast is stark.
Obviously, it doesn’t apply to all of them, but on average there is more work ethic and discipline. Family units are tighter and there is considerable emphasis on family name and honor.

True, but White Americans have been told this way of life is "wrong" for 10+ years now.
American needs to get back to God, Family & Country. That bleeds into discipline, education and work ethic!

Some of what I see in the comments on X is anger toward a couple dudes not from the US, or a generation removed from coming here, lecturing Americans about work ethic and culture yet it was the work ethic and culture that built the engine of prosperity that compelled them to come here and turned them into billionaires.
Elon / Vivek / Trump are going to risk losing a lot of popular support before Jan20 if this attitude continues. We need to fix some things, but for sure the correct message is not to tell Americans they suck so bad that they better import foreigners when data and litigation show H1B is being used for cheap labor and to exclude Americans, not because Americans are lacking.

Well, we can bring good talent into this country and put them to work, or companies will go offshore for good talent, because the quality is waning in this country.
