Vivek is a snake oil salesman and a phony, but it's hilarious how Trump influencers are turning on him for this when their guy basically handed control of the country to Fauci and called himself the "father of the vaccine." Not only that, but Trump and his team bragged about Fauci's approval ratings in June/July of 2020 and included clips of Fauci in their ads in October of 2020.

It more than that. Their livelihood is based on it. Whether they get money from Trump or other advertisers, there is an entire industry of peoples whose fortune is based off of MAGA.

Guys like Draino are emotional, kind of like Cernovich. They get worked up easily. That draws them naturally to someone like Trump but it also is what will eventually make them turn on him when they realize that they are excusing away a guy that isn't a conservative and continues to say so. Yesterday it was doubling down on Ukraine and building the FBI a wonderful new building in DC so they can coordinate with the DOJ easier. He's said 6 Week abortion bans are "too harsh". He gets squeamish on culture issues.
At some point I think he will figure out he should back the guy who actually pushes for conservative policies consistently and not just for sound bytes one day and then backtracks the next because he thinks it benefits him.

In the early days of the unprecedented pandemic - yeah, it was the right thing to do. You had to trust public health officials then.
Obviously they proved untrustworthy and the tide changed. Trump changed as data become available and all it unfolded.
No one could have known back when it started.

Not anymore. Trump said something about it him, so they ran with it here. After they were thoroughly embarrassed on who this dude really is, they moved on.
