It'll take however long it takes. The important thing is to do a thorough job and get it right.

Even though he was given the assignment by Sessions in October, 2018 (I believe), many here didn't even know about John Durham until fairly recently.

There's no need to rush this. Bull Durham knows what he's doing.

Y'all know this is going to be used to attempt to impeach Trump a second time. They're going to accuse Trump of using the DOJ to influence the 2020 election.

Nothing is going to happen. Nothing has happened in 3 years. You can add up all your crazy numbers and proofs and whatever but their isn't a damn thing being or will be done to anyone

Wrong. The important thing is whether or not indictments will be handed down (there won’t be any).

Without indictments, Durhams report is worthless no matter how thorough it is.

Barr and Durham care. And they have the power to hold people accountable.

It takes time but sounds like it’s going to happen....

Then why not release it now? If they’re going to willingly sweep this crap under the rug, they’re certainly not going to time their release to impact an election.

I’m still cynical, but this is a positive sign imo.

Nothing is going to happen. The evidence has been out in the open for 3 years...so what takes so long?

I can’t agree. There is a mountain of evidence and certainly enough to charge some (if not most) of those who acted illegally.

I'd bet we see a major name or two indicted before the fireworks.

That said, the timing for maximum impact on Dem Convention is delicious.

I wasn't sure about Barr, but his speech at the Federalist Sociaity was spot on.

I listened to the NBC interview and at this point in the interview, Barr hesitated and paused to sum up his thoughts....

quote:

Pete Williams: “I think a lot of people will hear what you’re saying here and they’ll say, ‘Well, that’s just Bill Barr defending Trump.’ Your concern about the FBI’s investigation is what, civil libertarian?”

BARR: I think our nation was turned on its head for three years I think based on a completely bogus narrative that was largely fanned and hyped by an irresponsible press. And I think that there were gross abuses of FISA and inexplicable behavior that is intolerable in the FBI. And the attorney general’s primary responsibility is to protect against the abuse of the law enforcement and intelligence apparatus and make sure that it doesn’t play an improper role in our political life. That’s my responsibility. And I’m gonna carry it out.
